    What's On Your Vanity Table?....

Lovely vanities! Ada Vice - That will look beautiful with a proper skirt. I would think a three-way vanity mirror would look very nice on top. Recently I happened to be looking into upgrading my vanity lighting and came across this hollywood style mirror that looks like it might be fun too...

What is your favorite red lipstick brand/shade?

MAC just released a new permanent line of lip colors - Pro Longwear. I want to check out the reds (Extended Play & Prolong) and pink to see if they suit. The formula is supposed to last up to 12 hours. Will have to see how that claim will work out.

    Your Favorite Cooking Shows.

Most have already been mentioned: Jacques, Julia, Justin Wilson, Clarissa & Jennifer, Nigella, Yan Can Cook, Original Iron Chef, etc. Also have to add the Great Chefs Series, Molto Mario, Nathalie Dupree, Dessert Circus. Don't watch much Food Network anymore but occasionally watch Giada or...

    Vintage Phones

I think my Taj Mahal Ericofon/touchtone was from the oldphoneguy/oldphoneworks and it is in wonderful condition. I purchased it a few years ago but I'll see if I can track down if it was same seller.

I have my dad's old tanker desk in storage at my sister's office so what I have currently fits with a more industrial/utilitarian theme but I am dying to find a space for a properly outfitted ladies writing desk type of thing with a set such as Sunny's too.

Sunny - Lovely desk set! That is just the sort of thing I have been looking for myself. I've had my eye on this set online but it's just a bit too pink for my taste: http://www.tias.com/cgi-bin/mp.fcgi?itemKey=3923772400

Finally got around to finding this thread and taking a pic of my vintage office supplies: Mutual Adjustable #20 Hole Punch, Scotch Tape Dispenser, Letter/Pen holder & Bates Listfinders. The bulldog clip is of unknown vintage :) It's been on that tin as long as I can remember so those two are...

    Draw the shades!

If you are at all ambitious, there are also a number of places you can get a kit to make your own, too. http://www.draperysewingsupplies.com/Roller-Shade-Kit-p/rcs-fslash-16.htm Also, the place I linked earlier has the option for the clutch/bead chain as well as the spring controls to...

    Draw the shades!

I don't know if the ring is plastic or metal but this company has a good variety of cloth pulls for the roller shade: http://www.shadepull.com/clothpulls.html and they also make custom roller shades: http://www.windowshades.net/

    Limoncello

More Limoncello love! Puzzicato/Wire9Vintage - Adding some heavy cream or splashing atop some ice cream sounds wonderful... I'll have to try these one day soon. If you find commercial Limoncello too sweet, it is so very easy to make your own and adjust to taste. I've substituted lemon with...

    Canning and preserving...

"The rule is, jam to-morrow and jam yesterday - but never jam to-day." Mes Confitures by Christine Ferber is a really terrific book. I make blackberry jam every year and there is just nothing like opening those little jars of summertime in the bleakness of winter. When I can get the right...
