I was wondering if there is a way to soften a vintage leather jacket (horsehide or steerhide) that is both effective and safe for the hide.
Sometimes vintage jackets are stiff and being able to soften them a bit would make the wearing much more comfortable.
Any experience or idea? Thanks
Hi,

Hi all,

Tomorrow I will be in Barcelona for three days, I know there is a big flea market there, the Mercat del Encants, anyone knows if it worth visiting and if is there any chance to find something interesting at good prices?
Thanks

I refer mainly to the Aviator, Outdoorsman and Shooter...

Hi, anyone can help in dating and identifying this jacket? No label inside (maybe lost) only the care label remains that indicates as manufacturer Tripp NYC, a brand unknown to me and surely not high quality, brass scovill zippers and buttons. Maybe from the 70s?
Do you think it's horsehide or...
This is a couriers broker that I used a couple of times to ship from USA to Italy, prices are very low compared to "normal" courier rates and often also lower that USPS but much faster, it's worth to check it out:
