the hat was from Baron's, they gave me the run around for about a year of when my hat would be complete. I wont be buying one there any time soon. But what they did make me was perfect to sit next to that painting.

I had originally ordered his best quality skinny brim...and after several hours on the phone, he had told me about one particular hat that had been woven to a higher quality than any of the others he currently had...Fortunately or unfortunately that hat was able to be block into my size.

according to Brent my hat is in the 31 to 32 weave count.

it only took a year but i think it would do Ostrovsky proud....

I'll agree with that...I was talking to Brent and he says that stiffening my hat isn't an issue....its just the un-stiffening it later that would be the problem...

by no stretch of the imagination are his hats cheap. I visited his work shop, had a few pints of Guinness with the man, and talked hats for a few hours. I've seen first hand the time and quality that goes into his work. I own several other panama hats and have had the pleasure of seeing what...
