    My new Aero Buco J-100

Thanks! And I agree, if I rode I would want the extra sleeve length.

Ha! Hopefully that realization will not come...

    My new Aero Buco J-100

Thanks! And at some point I did consider asking for a dual zip, but since I won't really be sitting down with my jacket zipped, I didn't think it was necessary.

    My new Aero Buco J-100

Haha, being able to fit into this jacket will be a great incentive for me to keep my weight down! Aero's version of a Buco J-100 is actually just a modified Board Racer--so they start with the Board Racer pattern, then they do a straight yoke with no vertical split seam and no internal or...

    My new Aero Buco J-100

Thanks! Yeah, I felt like the original zipper length caused some flaring at the waist of the jacket that I didn't like. Since I won't really be sitting with the jacket zipped, I had it go all the way down.

    My new Aero Buco J-100

After having harangued, harassed, and hounded you all, and after plenty of hemming and hawing on my own part, I finally pulled the trigger on, AND HAVE NOW RECEIVED, a beautiful Aero Buco J-100 in blackened brown Vicenza! Today was my first day wearing it out and I am very very happy with the...

Aero Buco J-100 fit jacket: your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Do you mean that the taper wouldn't even be noticeable when wearing the jacket? (I suppose if I laid the jacket flat on the floor, I would be able to see the taper...)

Aero Buco J-100 fit jacket: your feedback is greatly appreciated!

In trying on the size 38 (the smaller size) a bit longer last night, I noticed a little discomfort in the left armhole being too high. So, as many people on this very thread have suggested, I think I will go with the size 40 but ask for a taper of one or two inches. Carrie has provided me the...

Aero Buco J-100 fit jacket: your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Yeah, I figured the J-100 was a pretty snug silhouette, so that's why I'm leaning towards the 38. It will certainly be the trimmest fitting jacket I own, if I go with that size!

Aero Buco J-100 fit jacket: your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Haha! At this point my taste is for the perfectly horizontal ones, but who knows, if I spend more time on this forum, I may develop a thing for slanted ones!!

Aero Buco J-100 fit jacket: your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thanks! Yes, I would get this in Vicenza with a cotton sateen lining. (And you're right, shoulder cannot be adjusted, but sleeves can be lengthened.)

Aero Buco J-100 fit jacket: your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the comparison pic! It does look like the sleeves "slimmed down" after 5 months of wear...The sleeve length, however, looks identical. Also, what is different about the shoulders now? I have a hard time telling from the pics.

I will likely go with Blackened Brown Vicenza!

What do ya'll think of the body length on the size 38?

Aero Buco J-100 fit jacket: your feedback is greatly appreciated!

You've hit the nail on the head--the smaller size doesn't FEEL too small in the shoulders, and so I'm glad to get some feedback that it also doesn't LOOK too small. Thanks! Yeah, I also toyed with switching over to the Cafe Racer pattern (with J-100 details) for this jacket, but based on...
