Which of your jackets gets the most attention?

I don’t think you are doing anything wrong, friend. It is when the jacket wears you, people comment. Most of the comments I get come from the folks who have little clue what a real leather jacket should look like. You get comments from the guys on this forum every time you post a pic. That’s...

Which of your jackets gets the most attention?

Every time I wore this jacket, somebody asked me where I got it, how much i paid, even offered to buy it off (half jokingly). Unfortunately, that’s why I decided to sell this jacket and it’s hoping to find a new home on eBay at the moment. I don’t want my jacket to be screaming for attention...

    Lost Worlds Speed Demon

That is the best of this style I've seen, period. The grain and texture on that leather is also out of this world. Well done! Post some fit pics, please.

    Freewheelers Mulholland in Vintage Brown

Wow, those jackets look amazing on you. Beautifully simple, yet with enough subtly that makes them unique. The fit is perfect as well. Although they are the same model, they have completely different vibes. Love the black with denims, brown with chinos and twills. Well done.

    Shinki A-2 from RMC

I wear loose 36 or trim 38. My chest measures at 37”. My typical jacket is 17” shoulder, 19” pit, 18” waist, 27-28” length, 23.5” sleeve. So my A2 is literally my suit jacket size except for the back length at 24”.

    Shinki A-2 from RMC

Very similar to mine at 17" shoulder, 20" pit, 24" sleeve and back. These measurements typically equate to 36+ on the typical rough wear cut.

Looks awesome, there. What are the measurements of your jacket?

    Shinki A-2 from RMC

Contrary to what I used to believe, I now think A2s were really for slender folks with 6-7” drops. The shoulder/torso ratio is what really determines the overall look of the jacket. I am glad I am a bit height challenged, but I haven’t seen many A2s that look good on taller folks as the jacket...

    Shinki A-2 from RMC

Walking into the RMC will be like a starving kid wandering into a candy store for me. :-) My Shinki has lost much of its shine. I think it’s the acrylic coating they put on, but they have become more muted and distressed, especially on the sleeves. Shinki creases very differently than Vicenza...

I think you’re absolutely right. It is the high armhole that’s brings the shoulder closer when i zip up. It’s the same feeling i had when i first got my Board Racer, although it now has relaxed quite a bit. This A2 is actually a lot more comfy than how the BR was.

Your instagram and blog have some amazing photos. See that you had the same jacket. Love the FWs you have, but i must say the A2 you had looked fantastic.

This is very helpful. I have my measurements pretty nailed down when it comes to civilian jackets, but, think that A2s (or G-1) are the most difficult type to get the fit right. I agree, if I go up in size, even an inch on the chest, it will affect the fit of the torso area. Your fit picture...
