Do you wear curlers in front of your Significant Other?

That's why I LOVE pin curls! They are so close to my head I can tie a cute matching bandanna 'Rosie Riviter' style!! It's super cute!

    Caftans?

I adore a good muumuu! I live in muumuus & day dresses! I'd think I'd like to find a good patio dress too! This is my favorite muumuu! I like to cinch a wide white belt around the waist & wear it with a nice classic wedge to dress it up a bit! (Photo courtesy of SailorPinkVintage)

My new pattern I just purchased this great pattern on etsy! It's so versatile! I'm excited! I'll have to size/grade it a bit, but that's ok! A girlfriend and I will be attending our FIRST WWII event in Waxahacie in Nov! We are excited! I'm hoping to have this sewn by then!:p

    Weight loss options

What I found Ok Ladies for anyone else who is interested I just did a blog post on the typical diet of ladies during WWI & WWII. Basically it's looks to be rather low carb & heavy on fruits & veggies grown in Victory Gardens. Rationing was the name of the game!! Foods like sugar...

    Weight loss options

I was curious... What kind of 'diets' did women use to lose weight in the 40s & 50s (or before)? How did they loose weight? What about the 'normal' diet & foods of people during the time? What was the normal foods eaten? Also what did ladies do for exercise? What did they wear to...
