I love wearing vintage, reproduction and resale clothes. My mother taught me the art of resale shopping. Men resale is hard to find here in Dallas though.
I love wearing suits and bow ties. Mom always said for parties or going out... "When in doubt, over dress." I would rather be smartly dressed in a suit and bow tie when everyone else is in jeans and t-shirts than the other way around. Another thing mom always says is to put yourself together, even when just going for a carton of milk, you never know who you might see or might see you.
People today have forgotten the art of dressing. I take pride in looking nice.
Lost art of dressing?? Self tie bow ties, starched detachable collars, sock garters, button fly trousers, French-back or Tie-back boxer shorts, Breeks and knickers for casual wear, hats and starched handkerchiefs. Men wearing trousers and a sport coat just to hang around the house or go to the store.
Full disclosure... I also wear a toupee and not shy to talk about it.
