"The Aviator"

Saw a trailer for "The Aviator." It actually looks pretty good, and DiCaprio cuts a decent figure as Howard Hughes, but for some reason his voice sounded like he was sucking helium. I don't remember DiCaprio sounding that high pitched and reedy in his his previous movies. The real Hughes didn't have a particularly deep voice, but he didn't sound neutered, either.

They recreated the whole Coconut Grove for the film. It was a beautiful set.

I also saw the trailer last nite, and it looks like it's gonna be a fantastic looking film! The aircraft look great, set's costumes, and plenty of fine looking damess.

Saw a few Fedoras in the previews. Here's some info:

Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow will team up for SKY CAPTAIN and THE WORLD OF TOMMOROW which was written and will be directed by Kerry Conran. The film aims to go into production in late February in London. Set at the turn of the 20th century, it follows a reporter (Paltrow) and pilot (Law) who team up on an adventure. The film is being described as being a "retro-sci" type film in the vein of "Raiders of the Lost Ark."

Howard Hughes Jacket

Anybody know where I could get some good pics of that lovely Two Tone Jacket Mr Hughes used to wear in the 40s? Color of something similar would be great. I'd like to have my Tailor do me one up. Thanks.
