So, I've been googling like always and came across this stunningly beautiful aero jacket.
It is called a RAD jacket and it seems that this is still available. (Link above)
I assume that this jacket was explicitly made only for this German stockist. (I googled thoroughly but found no other stockists.)
The length of the jacket looks very short (as short as windward) and the contour of the jacket looks similar to Moonshiner or Bootlegger.

This type of jacket can be found in other makers.
Lewis leathers Universal MK1 for instance.
Double breasted and diagonal array of buttons.
Impeccable design.

If only I could finance this jacket... (I ordered Thedi, so I am virtually flat broke)
Well, gotta work my ass off!
Hope someone in this lounge pulls a trigger on this jacket.
I want some pics & reviews!!
=)

Speak with John Lever on here or on VLJF as I understand that he was the prime mover behind this jacket.

It was based on a German biker jacket owned by John L. A redesign had been on the cards, though I think it never quite hit the market. I liked the design but I seem to remember that there was an issue with using FQHH for it.

Yes, John swapped an original for a remake with Aero during the Lauder years. The original jacket was a DB style with two rows of buttons and a different back. The onen the picture is tha jacket ill had made for John - it was basically a cross-overfrontg on a 30s halfbelt back, if memory serves, and eliminated the extra (ornamental) row of buttons. It was made in Horween CXL FQHH, which was the star hide everyone wanted back in the day. If I recall correctly, John found the hide a bit too stiff or the style of jacket, and eventually sold it. Ken found the original in the factory when he came back to Aero in 2012, and I also recall there being a buzz about it beng reworked in a lighter hide - goat, maybe, or now Vicenza. Maybe Aero decided it's not likely to be a big seller? (I know Ken has said in the past he doesn't want to d a B2 because he doesn't see a market for it.) I actually think it is a design that would rework nicely as a women's jacket.
