Good day fellow loungers, I just listed a nice pair of NOS (new old stock) men's brown cap toes from the 1940's on ebay. I wanted to keep these so bad but, they're a little snug on me. They're the right length but, just too snug on the sides. They say 12AAA but, they fit like a 12B. I'm a 12D and these are just snug on the sides.

They have never been worn out side! The heel and soles are spotless! The leather is a little hard but, with a little leather treatment, they'll soften right up! They need to be broken in!

So, feel free to see them on my ebay auction at:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...1&from=R8&satitle=8386124078&category0=&fvi=1

If any one wants to buy them, they'll have to bid on them.

Thank you for looking!

Too bad my feet are larger than yours...

Rob, those are some REALLY fine captoes you've got up for sale and $20 is a STEAL. They resemble the brown Allen Edmonds that I've paid over ten times as much for (even THAT price was not full list) to go with my Pinks and Greens. Just goes to show how classic style lasts forever, doesn't it?

Sadly, the ZF man is a 13D...

Makes for some interesting shopping (vintage or otherwise) experiences... as does my 46L suit size, 17.5 x 36 shirt size, and 7.75 hat size. Nonetheless, I have several original WWII uniform items that fit and are in great condition.

Orthopaedic Shoe Shop

Hey Wildroot, I bought a pair of 13AAA vintage shoes, also labelled from the "Orthopaedic Shoe Shop".

They are really nice and in perfect condition, but man are those puppies too narrow for me. Maybe people have wider feet nowadays.

Good luck with the sale.

Oh, you do! Well, people back then didn't have narrower feet, these are the sizes that didn't sell. The normal sizes are hard to find because they're normal.;)

What we have left is what we have. We get lucky some times.
