I?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢m selling this because it doesn?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t look right on me. It makes my head look big (I have kind of a wide, round face). This is a vintage dark grey fedora made by Adam. This is from their Executive Quality line and dates back to the late 1940?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s and early 1950?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s. The color of the hat as it is listed on the duplication tag under the sweatband is ?¢‚Ǩ?ìBluemetal?¢‚Ǩ? (see the pictures), and is very close to the color in the pictures. I have included pictures of all the tags and markings. The sweatband is in perfect condition and has no cracks, cuts, marks, or discoloration. It is very flexible and comfortable. The felt itself is almost flawless. There are no moth bites, nicks, or cuts. There is one light spot on the top left hand side (bow side) of the hat. You can see it to the left of the dime (dime not include). I don?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t know what the spot is and have not tried to remove it. That is the only problem I can find with the felt (or the hat for that matter). The liner is also stitched in. I doubt this hat had ever been worn before I got it (or it might have been lightly worn). I have only put it one twice. One was when I bought it to see if it fit, and the other was yesterday when I decided to sell it because it made my head look big. The only time this hat has been outside was to take the pictures. This hat also comes from a NO SMOKING house.
The hatbox has seen better days. The bottom portion and inside is in good condition considering the age. The lid, however, is split on three of the four corners.
