Today I visited the local mens wear shop, where they actually had some fur felt hats that were for sale very cheap (because no one wears hats in the countryside in Norway anymore). And I couldn't let that chance pass by. So I bought two hats that the seller told me was probably from the 50's or... -

Homburg with dents
I am considering giving my Homburg side dents. What do you guys think? I have no experience working with the crown on hats. How do i make the dents permanent? The hat is made of wool, is there any chance it might shrink or get ruined in any way? Thanks for any help!:) -

Help with hat bulk
Recently I got a stain on my new wool fedora. I cleaned it with a wet towel. And when the spot dried it seemed to have shrinked a little bit, because now I have i small "bulk" on the edge of the brim. Is there anyway to fix this? Do I have to steam the whole hat to make it shrink evenly?[huh]
