Such great close-u pics. How do you do it?
I've been browsing through and seeing some fantastic close-up photos of pens and other smallish items. How do you do it? Technique or equipment? My camera is pretty sad and absolutely useless at close-in work. Can you recommend a good cheapish cam that would work? mrfish- mrfish

Tie ID? Strange symbol.
I found this years ago in a thrift shop. It has the numbers 1 through 12 arranged around an hourglass. It seems like such a strange, possibly significant, glyph, that I've always wondered if it represented something specific. Does this jog any little grey cells? mrfish- mrfish
