I was looking around at some WWII-era T-shirts and I noticed there were a lot of old squadron shirts that seemed to use an iron on transfer as the logo. I've seen examples of the actual transfer papers from the 40s and 50s which looked like they were on tissue paper.
I'm really curious how...
Has anyone purchased anything from them before?
I saw they had B-10 jackets for a pretty reasonable price

But their website is only in Japanese, I haven't heard a huge amount from them, and I feel like I'd be paying an arm and a leg for shipping
Hey Guys,
Quick question about WWII Battle dress. I had heard somewhere that the Brits sometimes wore Canadian battledress, but there wasn't too much information on the subject. Would you guys be able to shed some light on the subject?
mdmovie: I do agree your point about not wearing certain parts of the uniform. I tend to wear military clothing for recreation, but it's always just a jacket or cold weather gear and none of them have any patches.
I reenact as well, but most reenactors who actually wear the insignia do it with...
Thank you guys very much for your input, I really appreciate it!
I'm still deciding as of now, I wanted to make the jacket up from a specific squadron, which kind of limited my "copying nose art" options
I was conflicted because it'd be nice to make up my own nose art design, but I don't want...
Hi guys,
I understand that there is a jacket art thread, but I had a different question
I was thinking about painting an A-2 jacket, but I am really not sure what to put on it
I'm not sure whether I should remake a design from an actual aircraft?
or should I just make up my own?

Good evening ladies and gents,
I got an old Radiola Radio/Phonograph and I am trying to restore it

Hi guys,
I have been trying to find christmas carol recordings from the late 1930s early 1940s, but I am not sure where to start
do you guys know of any specific songs/artists
also, not to make this absolutely boring and worthless,
What is your favorite christmas song?
I usually shave with a gillette double edge razor that was acquired from a flea-market
it gives a good shave (although I think that I am the only person in my school that uses one)
A badger brush and mug suits fine, but I recently found some Omega brushless shaving cream.
it comes in a metal...
Hi guys
I recently purchased a pair of A-6 sheepskin flight boots and I noticed the rubber was a bit stiff
it's still quite malleable, it isn't brittle, but it is stiff and cracks a bit.
is there any way I can rejuvenate the rubber?
Also, they are two left feet, anyone else heard of...
Here's my B-3
It's an HLB corp contract B-3 and I got it from a flea market for $50.00
it's pretty beat up and I need to get some patches sewn in on some holes
it also needs a new zipper (ugh)
but I like it, and the leather is still pretty good in most areas
I did have to cut off the wind flap...
I am most interested in the ETO, MTO, and North Africa theater
especially the mid war period (1942-43)
I've loved the 8th air force scene ever since I watched Memphis Belle over 60 times when I was younger (no joke, I lost count at 40)
I know Aero leather still makes repro capri bells, whistles, and bomb tags

looks pretty nice
Right, I've decided to add to this
if anyone is interested in seeing the WPG A-8B oxygen mask
here it is
the bladder is thicker than the originals, but overall, I think it looks pretty good.
I tried hooking it up to an A-9A regulator, but it didn't fit, so I had to grind the connector down a...
