Wallaroo Havana
I havn't got one but i have similar hats, they are good, they feel a little coarse/plastically compared to plain straw but durable with nice ventilation. interesting name they have chosen for their company! Wallaroo happens to be the name of a town just north of Adelaide, not a bad fishing spot... -

Hat blocks/shapers/home made?...
if you wanted to do it on a machine, possibly the oval could be cut with a band saw or depending on the size maybe a jig saw first, then sanding the edges to a smooth oval, then using a spindle moulder machine would probably work to place the curve on the outside edge. your home router is... -

that got me to wondering if those lead filled conforming ,plastic bending rulers (i.e. Trueflex)that hold their shape would work for the same type of job; for tracing the shape of your head...not that you would need to use it for an exact measurement, but it would seem to be alright to get the shape -

yeah i noticed that as well, i figured it must just be a case of "I say tomartoe, you say tamaito" type thing perhaps in Lock & Co eye's it is in fact, technically a trilby, but to R Downey Jr , internet folk and Americans in general they like the sound of calling it a Fedora better [huh] -
First Hat - Need lots of advice
hehe (i got a different track), i was thinking , with all the palm leaves and colour flora in the background a linen jacket or dark jacket over white shirt and a panama hat would do the trick..come to think of it, it would fit right in with the current tropical shirt too !! :) add in a nice... -

Hat style advice.
I was standing in front of my mirror a while back and couldn't decide what shape my face fell into either..so I grabbed a marker pen (lipstick or wax pencil etc would work as well) and traced around the outline of my face onto the glass ..sounds a bit dopey I guess but it makes it extremely... -
