    Steampunk?

It's been going over here in the UK for at least 15 years and no sign of any let up, frequent Steampunk and Goth weekends at Whitby where Bram Stokers Dracula sought refuge after being shipwrecked assist in its longevity.......me I'm not a great fan but I do get to sell them quite a bit of stuff!

A Loose Affiliation of Ribbons Niether Wide nor Thin

Here's one that has me stumped, a British quality made Woodrow & sons from the mid 50s (according to the newspaper packing under the sweat) There's something not right about the 'porkpie' finish which definitely not factory done....however there are no giveaways as to how it was originally.

    The Bowler or Derby Hat

Here's one I found recently in the UK, it was in a very old Christy's box which I didn't buy....bizarrely it appears to have never had a liner fitted?

Would you wear a scarf with small holes in it?

Absolutely wear it, maybe darn it first to stop it spreading.

    Recreating hard-sided luggage

I've quite a few such suitcases, some were made from pressed cardboard type fibre and some were woven type material impregnated with some sort of resin, both had reinforced corners in either parent material or leather. Whilst I admire you're wish to 're create these surely you could find a set...

Vintage Picking and Road Tripping with Dinerman

Me too Eddie, it's still out there although maybe a little less picked over up here in the badlands? Though I'll admit finding pre 1950 suits and shirts isn't easy.

    Gillette Super Speed DE Razors

I've actually just rescued a 1962 slim. Adjustable from a local charity/thrift shop....it was pretty grotty and wouldn't adjust but a couple of hours cleaning and polishing have brought it up to a decent shaving razor, certainly great for the three quid I paid......I still love my 1912 though.

    Gillette Super Speed DE Razors

I'd guess they're made in the China area? You should get ten shaves per blade if you hand strop the blade......

    Gillette Super Speed DE Razors

You'll get one on UK Ebay for a tenner....they all seem to shave the same.
