Would it make a difference that the bottom of the shirt doesn't have a waistband? The back picture is just the hem line. (The shirt hangs straight, it does not hug the waist). So would that still be called a Ban Lon?
I will think on letting you have it for a while dv! ;) The sleeves and back are a silky polyester, while the chest is a double knit polyester. Kinda a Rockabilly, Atomic, Ricky thing all in one going on?!?
I am trying to get this whole thing down of the Hollywood jacket theme down. Then I ran across this shirt. Is this considered Hollywood? It was made in CA!;) the label reads Alfie California. What age would this be? 50's? Many thanks in advance.
Okay so Norfolk has the attached belt in the front ? And Hollywood has the two tone accents? Is Hollywood style a particular decade? What if a jacket has a pattern and a print on it? Is that Hollywood. Sorry to cause confusion.
Hello all!
This is my first post over here, so I am the new kid on the block. I was recommended to come here by a fellow seller. I have this coat and I am not sure of the date, 40's or 50's. Can anyone help? I think it is referred to as Hollywood or Norfolk style? Thanks in advance!
