Thanks again, all! I solved my issues using Dudely Q's setting lotion and a wet set under a hooded dryer. It is just flat out amazing It lasts 3 or 4 days so I a m very pleased. Thanks again, so much for, taking the time to answer me. xo xo -

Thank you both! I will look into protein treatments right away! I probably do over condition as I use a Keratin shampoo and a conditioner. I thought it was needed due to the perm!! -

My hair is just not holding curl, even after a loose perm. I have tried everything. Wet set under a hooded dryer, wet set while sleeping, hot sticks, curling irons then pinned... nothing works. Is there any such thing as hair that just won't hold curl?? It used to but, no more :(... -

Thanks, Ladies! I prefer the hooded as sleeping in a set is really uncomfy for me :( But, I am going to get a perm in a month, or so, and that should cut down on the days I have to set my hair :) -

I have never heard of using apple cider vinegar as a setting lotion! I have only ever used to as a way to rinse product build up out of my hair once a week!! I shall give it a go!! Thanks :) -

What is your setting lotion
to water ratio? I have hair that just won't hold the curl I put into it lately and was wondering if I should up my setting lotion to water ratio. Right now, it's lotta body 1/3 and water 2/3 I do either a wet set and sleep in it over night, or a wet set under the dryer for an hour... -

Fray Stop for holes silk chiffon?
I have 2 dresses that have tiny holes in their silk chiffon. They are not terribly noticeable now so I was wondering if a little bit of fray stop on the edges was a solution. If not, any tips that might help would be wonderful!- Maudelynn

Vitamin supplements and skin
I take a lot of vitamins and take a teaspoon of alma/ indian gooseberry powder in fruit juice. I also use the powder as a mask by adding water. It does wonders for my skin. -
Body Wave vs Tighter Perm?
I was wondering if just a wave might hold my sets as long as tight perms, as some days I don't feel like doing a set and would love to just have nice, loose curls/waves. Thanks and, Happy Wednesday! -
