    Fedora Lounge Edition {Everything Australian } Akubra Camp Draft 2 5/8s brim

    What a great day! Limas, ham hocks, and corn bread will be ready in a little over an hour, AND...I sit here playing with my new Camp Draft. I am pleasantly surprised. The color blows me away! Several things I noticed with my first Akubra: The sizing is no larger than I have received with...

    Recruiting: Lounge members for special edition Moonstone Camp Draft

    I really don't want another Silverbelly. I may get the Moonstone with the regular brim. Duper, thanks for your effort!

    Akubra Campdraft

    I would really like one of these in grey. The Glen Grey seems to duplicate one of my Stetsons in color. I would definately purchase a Moonstone 56 cm.

    Deciding on an Akubra...help please.

    Analysis paralysis. I can't think of any retailers that allow you to only purchase one ! You will find reasons to buy more. Good luck!

    Can you get new hats in Long Oval?

    I did the same thing with my favorite Resistol years ago. My bride finally admitted that my blockhead was good for something.

    Jeff, Good luck with your new position. I had a very pleasant purchasing experience with them several months ago. They seem to be very customer oriented!

    Hats and Birkenstocks

    My wife would complain about the female attention I received from my summer attire. I'm an old dude with a shaved head and a handlebar mustache. Biltmore straw fedora, cargo shorts, aloha shirt, and Bork sandals for me in the summer. Got rid of the wife; no more complaints!

    The Stratoliner Appreciation Club {MODERN}

    I am honored sir, as I have read and always respect your contributions to this forum. My good friend was the owner/builder of the restaurant next door. I live in the county, but would enjoy meeting for golf or refreshments if you should decide to venture south.

    I actually bought a pair of llamas. That is another story. Thank you for the memory, amigo!

    The Stratoliner Appreciation Club {MODERN}

    I live in the Lake Oconee area. Funny, that a cowboy gave me my Resistol and flattened the brim "so the hat didn't look like it was wearin' me". I worked off and on as a feedlot cowboy on the Red River 26 Bar Ranch in Pinal County, AZ. It was part of my what they now call "bucket list"; almost a...

    The Stratoliner Appreciation Club {MODERN}

    When I wear my OR (cattleman crease), snap brim, here in middle GA, the men compliment the old law, Truman, or LBJ image. My modern Strat gets more attention from the ladies. It doesn't feel like the quality of my old San Antonio (long ago lost), but I really enjoy wearing it.

    Ebay Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

    I buy a lot of vintage photos on the bay. I find most sellers honest, but misinformed.

    WTS: Fedoras, Three Biltmores and a Stetson

    I grew up with cowboy hats, both Resistol and Stetson. I'm not real fond of stingy brims, and was concerned with a 2 1/4" brim. I have never handled an Ashland, but I am VERY impressed with this lid!

    WTS: Fedoras, Three Biltmores and a Stetson

    They arrived well-packaged, in hat boxes, and in pristine condition. I thank you, sir!
