Sorry for replying so late, insoles will make these boots A LOT more comfortable, so I'd recommend that anyway. Apart from that, my pair has developed a hole right on top of the right boot above the toes, making the boots practically useless. Does anybody know if this can be fixed in any way? So...
Hey Shangas, any details on the leather suitcase at the bottom? Ebay seems to be full of them recently. Any definitive opinion on this thing? Is it worth getting or is it just a suitcase for display purposes?

Search the forum for "rough out boots" or "shoes, service, reverse upper". There are various threads about them. I have some myself, have treated them with Snoseal which has made them pretty much waterproof and wear them regularly. But buy comfortable insoles. The are not my most comfortable...
