Sorry, nothing relevant here, except maybe search TCM about their Celluloid Skyline series they did.
For me it's all about the style and look. I much prefer a good repro or home made garment to the actual vintage (which I would be terrified to wear most places for fear of destorying/ruining it) and it's hard to find Vintage 20-22.
Plus when I make it myself, I can choose colors and fabric...
I actually made this dress back in April, but a lack of decent pictures prevented me posting. It's a modern pattern and the only adjusting I did to it was shorten the length and made the sleeves puff.

Hollywood rarely shows the true mix of fashion and style worn regularly in America (still true today). I'd love to see more of what people actually wore on a day to day basis.
Basically go beyond the Hollywood/LA/NYC stereotypes to the core of America's fashion...
I have to avoid this place when I have money! It's soooo bad for my bankbook.
I can live without a completed outfit, but I don't stop looking for things to 'complete' it.
