When wearing a one button Black Tie peaked lapel jacket with a waistcoat, should the jacket be left open all of the time to show the waist coat, or should the jacket be buttoned? Thanks, David -

Black tie/ White Tie Shirt cuff showing
How much shirt cuff should be showing below the jacket sleeve end for White Tie and Black Tie? I have seen many variations on both, here at FL and on the Black Tie Guide. With Black Tie I have even seen photos showing no white shirt cuff below the jacket end. Thanks! David -

Is it correct to wear a formal white tie evening dress shirt with single cuffs and detachable collar, with a black tie dinner jacket, waistcoat and pants, (ie: tuxedo)? What are the nuances of formality with the various shirts worn with black tie? Thanks! -
