I’m leaving tomorrow for NYC, where I’m going to spend the whole week, mostly in Manhattan, with maybe one day in Brooklyn. I’d appreciate any recommendations of cool vintage/thrift/junk stores there. Thanks.
Every once in a while I come across a great jacket at a very good price, but with wrinkles in the leather. The one pictured here may be an extreme example, but it aroused my curiosity as to whether there is some remedy or treatment for the problem.
Is there one?

I've been looking for a leather vest for quite a while now. I've come across one in a style that I really like, at a great price, but it's lined with that white Sherpa stuff. I'm tempted to buy it and rip that lining out. Raw leather on the inside would be fine with me, but I don't know how that...
