I’ve been on the hunt for some slim-fit khakis or chinos without any stretch material, and they are not easy to find. Bill’s doesn’t do a slim cut and even the guy who started Bill’s, who has now relaunched Duck Head, uses a stretchy fabric.
Iron Heart does make a really nice pair of chinos...
I got this Aero Seven in brown CXL from Carrie at Thurston Bros. It is gorgeous, of course. The smell is amazing.
But I’m not sure it fits me right. The sleeves feel too short to me, just a bit, and the shoulders too narrow. Again, just a tick too small.
What do you think? Carrie...
Hi TFL team!
i just received a new RoughWear 27752 A-2 from Eastman in the mail in a size 46. This was just to try on, as I know I’ll need to add 2” of length, but wanted to check the body size first.
i love the way it fits in the shoulders, and also the chest seems to be enough room for a...
I’ve been searching high and low for a dark seal or black horsehide A-2 in 44-46 Long or Extra Long — I have a 46” chest and very long arms. I’m 6’4”, 205 lbs.
from previous jackets I know I need something close to these measurements:
shoulders: 19”
Pit-to-pit: 24”
Sleeves: 28”
Length: 28”...

Just bought these boots on Wednesday, and wore them twice, only to realize I don’t love black combat boots... but you might!
These were limited to 600 pair, and made with Red Wing’s Black Prairie leather that has a teacore effect. Plus the Vibram green soles. I...
Here in Europe, it’s much more difficult to pack heat. But back in the USA, I imagine a handgun would go well with a fedora. Especially if you’re wearing an Open Road, a flight jacket, selvedge denim and engineers boots.
Anyone have a favorite daily carry?
I love jackets with a western-style yoke on the back. It’s strikes me that someone may have manufactured a hybrid/Frankenstein, western-A2. But I know very little about these.
Can anyone point me in that direction?
By the way, on the subject of hybrid A-2’s: does anyone make an A-2 with...
i think it looks pretty amazing. i have a few problems with it myself, for example I am a ducati devotee, so the Rondel would be difficult for me to wear on my shoulder. also, i have quite long arms, and I doubt they would do it up custom. but still...
I'm looking for the most `period-correct' B-3 jacket that I can possibly find.
Reason: my grandfather flew a B-24 in the second World War out of Horsham St. Faith (458th Bomb Group, 755th Bomb Squadron) and was shot down over Boppard, Germany before being transferred to Stalag Luft 3. I'd like...

The Dainese HF D1 Leather Jacket -- only worn twice -- in a size 58.
I bought this Dainese HF D1 leather motorcycle jacket at a store that was going out of business (Bike Force!) and it is a size too large for me.
I am 6'3'', 207 lbs. (191cm, 94kg) and I actually wear a 56 in Dainese...
I've almost never worn this jacket, because I bought it slightly too small for me. (The guy in the pics is shorter than me, I'm 6'3'', 207 lbs.)
The Ducati Eagle leather motorcycle jacket is from the ``Meccanica'' collection, in a size 54. Fits me great off the bike, but is slightly too small...
These suede Chelsea boots are a UK size 10, EU size 45. I got them about one year ago in London and paid 395 pounds.
I have rarely worn them, maybe 9 or 10 times, on my motorcycle. As such, they have a slight scuff on the left toe from the shifter (see pictures).
They are hand-made from a...
The R.M. Williams size is a 10 G. That equates to a US 11, a UK 10 and an EU 45. They are supposed to fit snug so they stretch to your feet. I bought these one size too large for my feet, and only wore them two or three times, so they have not been stretched at all, or ``broken in'' to my foot...

I bought these in London less than one...
