Hat and Glove Era Advise & Etiquette

foofoogal - just my opinion, of course, but I think wearing gloves is less sanitary than no gloves and washing your hands. If you want to wear vintage gloves because you like them, great, but if you're wearing gloves because you think it's more sanitary, I think you're mistaken (unless you're...

I'm tired of the "bad economy".

Well put. Just because people in an earlier time had it rough, doesn't make anyone who is suffering now feel any better or suffer any less.

Hat and Glove Era Advise & Etiquette

I don't get how wearing gloves will help. The virus is airborne, plus if your gloved hand comes in contact with the virus and then you touch your mouth, nose, etc. what's the difference from not wearing gloves and touching your mouth? The point of washing your hands is to keep the germs...

The best films no one has ever seen.

That movie was pretty widely shown and seen when it came out. I wouldn't consider it for "the best films that no one has ever seen." :)

The Orginal Amos & Andy - Get This Book!

This question/answer is in the S. FL Sun-Sentinel's TV column. The columnist is Tom Jicha: Q. The '50s TV series Amos 'n' Andy was very funny. Can you tell me where I can buy episodes and if they will ever show them on TV again? Also how long was the show on the air? Deb, e-mail A. Amos...

SNORK!!!!!! Thanks for the laugh. If there is anything that this horrible tragedy can teach us, it's that a male model's life is a precious, precious commodity. Just because we have chiseled abs and stunning features, it doesn't mean that we too can't not die in a freak gasoline fight...

I haven't seen it in years, but I loved it when it first opened. It was groundbreaking.
