You should be fine with the Oxyclean, especially if it's a Playtex Living Bra (acetate, nylon and several other synthetic fibers). The 18 Hour longline should be OK also, although the rubber (Spanette) material can be more difficult to deal with. It can also more rapidly deteriorate over time...
The RIT dye works great on plain white slips, especially all-nylon ones. I’ve dyed dozens, some tie-dyed (shown here). They make great nightgowns. They’re also nice and cool to wear around the house on a hot day. I can usually find plain white at Sally’s (Salvation Army) or local church thrift...
We don't carry them in larger sizes but Girdlebound seems to have a good selection. Here's a link. You have to scroll down a bit to see them, then check out the size chart:

Tishkaminx,
You should check out Silhouette bras. I think they may meet your needs. Here is a link to some of the styles we carry, but there are also other styles available. We're one of the few vendors for them over here, but I know you can find many shops that carry them over there...
I'm not sure how backless you need to go, but you may want to check out the Carnival 203 Backless Bra. Here's a link and you can check out the back:

Wow! Beautiful pictures Carey! The first one is stunning! BTW, the Playtex Cross Your Heart (Style 120/121) was discontinued last May (after decades!). We're out, but I'm sure there are other vendors out there that still have them. The 18 Hour (Style 20/27) is the last of the Playtex classics.
It does make a lot of sense to package an extra pair. Stockings are much more economical than pantyhose regardless. BTW, Hanes has discontinued the 728's, so stock up while you can.
Arggh!!! That's not correct. We were selling them as a three pack for $15.00, but changed it to allow customers to mix colors. We just finished re-doing the site last weekend but forgot to delete that part. Of course, if you're interested, you can have the three for $5.00 since you highlighted...
You might want to check out Berkshire Support Stockings. They're 70 Den., $5.00 a pair.
Hopefully it's OK to put a link: http://www.brabarella.com/floatpages/hosieryfloats/berkshire1805.htm
