Per a request, I examed the underside of the snaps. (RAU CO) is what I see
stamped on brass snaps. Does anyone know what RAU indicates?

I remember looking at RAU Fasteners trying to date my unlabeled Monarch. Zippers date it to the 50s, the snaps are RAU, like in your Trojan.
