A fantastic book! by MK

I found a treasure of used books today. The gem of the bunch was:

Fashionable Clothing from the Sears Catalogs:Early 1940s
by Tina Skinner

This book is a super resource for clothing for men, women and children of the era. Most of the photos are color....which is unusual. It will be my first choice for 40's fashion resource from now on. My 1935 Wards catalog is great too, but this is handier and less fragile. A must have.

I just discovered they have a mid forties book too.

P.S.

Don't confuse this with Everyday Fashions of the Forties As Pictured in Sears Catalogs...which is just ok. Skinner's book blows that away. (I sound like the governator).

I'm curious...how big is this book? what is the ratio of men's to women's fashion in the book?
