I’m reluctantly selling this, my second, AVI Leather Gordon & Ferguson M-422A, size 42
Its been worn lightly, occasionally, not much at all. In fact, it appears new.
The jacket is immaculate, clean, knits are still taught. Its in mint condition.
Reason for sale? I have three original G-1s that are in need of work, and work requires £$
This, along with a couple of new A-2s on the way, necessitates a bit of a jacket culling.
I love all my jackets, but something has to go.
The details of these jackets have been discussed quite a lot.
Pattern and detailing copied off an original G&F in AVI’s collection.
Gorgeous, genuine mouton fur collar, hands down better than some top end maker’s
(see pics compared to an original 60s Martin Lane G-1)
Goatskin leather is flexible and grainy, easy to wear.
Silky Rayon lining
Correct weave knit
Etc
This is a regular 42 with an inch added to sleeves.
Approximate measurements:
Shoulders - 18.5” (relaxed) and 19” (stretched)
Pit to pit- 21.5” (relaxed) and 22” (stretched) - Be aware, the bis-wing back opens the jacket up.
Back length —25”
Sleeve length Outer - 26.5”

I am 5’10 72kgs - This jacket is more like a 42 large, very comfortable with lots of room to layer.
It may even be said to more like a size 43. Classic M-422A WW2 fit, depending how you like to wear it.

Im looking for £200 net plus postage (PPFF)
These are £285+- (329 Euro) plus postage and import duties (I had to pay around £70!)
So this jacket was upward of £350+++
