"Beaver Blend"

I received my rist fur felt fedora this past Monday off of Ebay. It's a gray fur felt "Beaver Blend" fedora. Now I know what a beaver blend is. It's the fact that there is beaver blended into the fedora. I think that that's good. In fact I'm almost sure that that's good. This might be a stupid question, but can a beaver blend fur felt fedora be fine in rain or snow, good and bad days?
