Hello to all. What a wealth of knowledge from all over the world! I've been hanging around in the shadows for some time now, reading and learning. I really enjoy visiting here every day. Today I have a question ...

The other day I read someone had trimmed and shaped thier cowboy hat brim into a fedora look. (Biltmore Bob?) I can't find the post but was wondering how to properly go about something like this. Also does anyone have any before and after pictures?

I don't wear cowboy hats but wound up with a few beat up hats for testing cleaning methods and cleaners. There's one that I really like the crown on, and think it may be the subject of my first Brim Trim.

Thanks, ROY

Great looking conversion!

That's the type of operation I'm talking about. Was the brim worked on with more than just steam or was it narrowed a little?
