Dating by Logo Evolution

I know the good Baron Kurtz has been working on his Union Label dating scheme, but here's another one: logo evolution. I just bought a Botany trenchcoat for a lousy thirty-five bucks. It could be from the 70s to 00s - I don't know. 'Botany' I'm presuming is not 'Botany 500'. Maybe it is. Again, I don't know. A while ago I had to do some research on a European suit manufacturer (I've since forgot the name) and their site had all their logos with the dates, so it was easy for me to pinpoint the suit's era of manufacture.

Perhaps a few lounger have links to or scans of some of the logos with date ranges. Post what you can, and I think if we get enough it should become a stickie.

I don't have scans, but I'm a big proponent of logo history education. It's a great way to date things -- especially hats.
