I recently saw 80s leading man Treat Williams now a slightly paunchy jowley 68 play kindly Dr. Curtis Welch in The Great Alaskan Race. It reminded me that Treat starred as Jack Dempsey in a 1983 TV movie that I always wanted to see. Since New York State is on lockdown the time was right. It was pretty good. The choreography in the boxing scenes was amazing. And plenty of cool clothes from the 1920s.
