Stetson Whippet for sale
Size 7 1/2 light brown/taupe w/medium brown ribbon. Sweatband shows a little wear, but is soft and pliable and stitched well. Liner has plastic tip protector intact. The reorder tag number and the number stamped on the back of the sweatband match.
Brim is 2 1/2', crown is 5 1/8", brim binding 3/8". Ribbon is 1 7/16".
While I'm not 100% positive this is the original ribbon (because there is a shadow at about 2" which is sometimes indicative of a ribbon replacement) the bow keep matches some found on Whippets and the color and workmanship seem to say it is original. The shadow also matches up with the sweatband, so it may be from storage.
Hard to find vintage hats in larger sizes, and well, this is a Whippet. Hat has been given a naptha bath and steamed.
