Need some advice here.

For our wedding, we're trying to do a black and white theme. My fiancee will be wearing a white dress with black & white shoes, black jewelry, and black & white flowers. Her bridesmaids will have black dresses and black shoes and black & white flowers.

My groomsmen will be wearing black suits, black shoes, and black & white plaid pocket squares.

I'll be wearing a dark grey 3-piece suit with a white shirt, black & white Fluevog Executor Lucianos, and a black & white polka dot pocket square

Here's the pocket square http://bit.ly/OEvIil

The question is -- what kind of tie should I wear, and what about the groomsmen? I've been thinking that, since the groomsmen pocket square is plaid, and mine is polka dot, that maybe I find a black & white plaid tie, and get them polka dot ties? Or, I could just go with a black tie, maybe with some paisley? Or something else. This could be the one place to add some color.

I need some advice here!

The thought of the same person wearing both black-and-white polkadots and black-and-white plaid is causing a major cringe.

I would say solid black tie and solid white pocketsquare for the groom.
