I have a Cream coloured, custom made vintage styled wool flannel suit on offer-
I had it made a while back by a seamstress but it's too small for me. I have never worn it but it has collected a bit of fluff. A quick sponge and steam would fix it- doesn't need dry-cleaning at all- never worn. The fabric is lovely, it is a finely woven serge really, which doesn't show a lot of twill. The fabric was quite expensive.
Would look nice for evening wear with a white or black Bowtie or anything really. Or daywear- nice light (not too light wool)
Jacket: Size 42*
2 button Single Breasted, peak lapel, fully lined- 45" thru chest, 18 1/2" across shoulder, 25 1/2" sleeve.
Trousers:
are high waisted(13 1/2" rise- on my bellybutton), 34" waist, 28" inseam, cuffed 1 3/8", cuff width measures 19". They are 2 pleat (per side)have a 2 button extended bearer, 2" waistband.
Fitting:
I guess it would suit a not-too-tall s42-44 or 42 stout really.
The colour is a soft yet rich cream, although it looks a little 'bone' coloured in the pics. I think it's a nice, classicvintage styled suit- a bit Charlie Chan style. And of course, custom made and never used! A NEW Vintage suit!
