Pre-distressed leather jacket treatment

What can I use to treat a pre-distressed Indiana Jones jacket (Coyle’s Clothing/Todd’s Costumes) to “repair/restore” some of the “pre-distressing” treatment? They were overzealous with the distressing treatment and its scuffed more than desired. Only paid $80 for used jacket so can’t really harm it. Not going for Jones look, I use it for riding '47 Indian motorcycle in warm weather.

What product should be used to treat the leather?
