I'm very excited. I just learned a local theatre company is doing The Maltese Falcon next week. This is reported to be the first full-staging of the play, adapted from the Hammett novel by Helen Borgers, to be presented outside California.
To coincide with the event, Monaco Pictures, a brand new, luxury movie complex here in town, is offering a free screening of the 1941 film Sunday afternoon.
