Hey everyone!
Rain on and off since last night. Going out while it's temporarily dry.

Not wet enough for a raincoat at the moment, but this well loved old Army M-1943 field jacket I found thrifting should fare better than a leather if the skies open up again. There's no tag left in the jacket, but I'm guessing that it's an M-1943 field jacket because the hood has this:

And it goes with the hat!
Have a great day!

That is one of my favorites of yours. Beautiful in all ways.

Repeat my comment on Moe's hat.

That's one nice looking hat. It's within a few days of being the same age as me. I'm going to have to say it has weathered the years better.

Good evening. An annual banquet had me dressing in a different costume this evening. A vtg.Stetson Playboy (unlined - gray felt with matching ribbon treatment) was my hat of choice.

Class upon class!!
I haven’t seen trouser creases like that since the Marine Corps. Be carefull they’re liable to cut your hat!

Thanks sir. My Robert Johnson and Rand spectators combined with the gray wool slacks were a hit with the folks at my banquet this evening. I do enjoy a crisp crease on my casual and dress slacks. My wife has done an excellent job in convincing me that my jeans do not need an ironed crease. For the past couple years I have not ironed a crease in my jeans. Ironed - yes, but no crease.

Thanks again. best this evening, Eric -

I love that Lee. Cool jacket, have you researched the jacket's time frame, I would assume they continued into the Korean War?
