Don't know what ya don't want 'til it's gone,...
..or something like that. I was lucky enough to find one of those in my huge 7-5/8 size a while ago, but after much deliberation, I saw that it was just too floppy and too big for me.
So off to ebay it went. So I must strike my previous post I think. Nice hats though for sure.

Wow! This discussion goes back a few years, doesn't it??!! I no longer have that mustache and I no longer wear glasses (Lasik!). But......... I still wear that beautiful Borsalino to this day! What I love about it is that wide-wide brim and the soft 'flop' - it is literally weightless on my head.

I have two and wish I had more. My absolute favorite hat in the world. None better in my estimation. Mine are both from the fifties. One is pearl grey and is as new, was my Dad's. The other I scored off the 'bay and have worn it almost daily for the last 4 or 5 years, milky coffee colored. Only thing I'm still unsure of is if it's accurate to call these 50-60 year old hats Allesandrias or if that only applies to the modern version.
