Fur felt, too big. Nothing a couple of blue paper shop towels couldn't fix though. Fits great now.

Yes sir, it came with the pug from the factory. It came as an open crown like the Nostalgia and has a roan leather sweat, not the standard black composite leather band like most of the other production hats. It is a shame it never made production. The felt is thick and soft.

You know, it's still a bit warm here in the Sonoran Desert. I'm wearing a new Gatsby 'Newsboy' that I picked up online.
I wear it backwards like the old aviators and I'm very pleased with how it looks. My fedoras are standing-by in the cabinet
waiting for cooler weather ahead. I'm riding my new 'Sportster' pretty regularly now and the 'Newsboy' tucks into my jacket
very nicely so I know it'll be the hat I carry during my riding days. Tough to carry a wide-brim fedora on the bike!
