Dan, you really need to go next year. I knew nothing about the snow train til last week and I wish I had known about it much sooner. They really make it a special event. On the train is a huge selection of magicians, musicians, carolers, comedians, jugglers:juggle: to entertain and of course Santa. Leavenworth is amazing and we have been before but the train part was new to us and really made it something special. And for what you get the price ain't too bad. When you go make sure you go eat at King Ludwigs and order the hamhock:hungry:

And the hat is Arts black cherry

Man, that sounds like a lot of fun Bart. Thanks for sharing that moment in time with your family and a great hat in a fun place. :eusa_clap

Cheers!

Dan

Wore this vintage Stetson OR to a dog show this weekend. Got a couple of nice comments.
Also noticed a smattering of fedora type hats, most probably wool, but fedoras nonetheless...

OR 15 today with "Christmas colors".

Both shots have a great vintage Christmas feel to them, one a little more casual than the other. Looks great!:eusa_clap:eusa_clap

Cheers!

DM, again a great looking vintage lid. Is that about a 1920's Stetson? In any case, a great look for the night out. :eusa_clap

Cheers!

Dan

Thanks!
It's an early '30s Mallory. Started out life as a 7-3/8, but at some point long ago the sweatband came out. The period repairwork, adding a "hinge" of leather attached on one side to the felt and on the other to the sweatband, has brought it down to a perfect 7-1/4.
