John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. I can't really date them. Maybe we could collect some details about the typical width or when cuffs and certain pleats were more common. Oh and fabrics of course.
As far as I know it could be like that
1920s normal to slim
1930s and 40s wide
1950s tapered at the ankle and getting slimmer
1960s slim
Is this about right?
I actually pay more attention to the waist details than the cuffs.
...fabric might include pleats (forward or backward)
I'm not familiar with the direction of pleats. Would someone care to expand it this? Which type is more commonly found in vintage styling?
Could you please tell some facts? I don't know anything about waist details.
