I wish this was in my size. That is the perfect colour.

I'd say middle 40s, comparing the cut to dated examples I have.

It's just waiting to be paired with some grey flannel trousers.

It may also be earlier then mid 40s.
the burtons label is highly decorative

I mean I have a sports coat date 35' that has a conservative cut you wouldn't consider it mid 30s

That Burton's label was in use in the period approx 1920-1950.

I'm pretty sure that particular version of the Harris Tweed label dates to the 1940s.

It can be dated by looking of the trademark number. It's not quite as useful as dated union tags, but still pretty handy:
