Chamuco, would you happen to know of any websites where they feature those straws? Living where I do, I'm always looking, particularly for darker straw hats. Thanks.

Big brim and tall, my kind of hat!

Even being a shop hat, needs a bit of TLC. Looks nice.

Nice one.
I have had this hat for almost 20 years now, I wore it the last time that your fellow countryman Joao Moura came to Guadalajara, great horse rider, great way to do bullfighting from a horse, the best apprentice from the great master Don Pedro Louceiro, an old time artist, who was a very good friend of my grandpa.

I told a friend if mine, while having dinner with Don Pedro that he was Portuguese, he heard that and corrected me, " Kid, I am Lusitano" old timers had that class in them.

One of the very few guys that I miss on a Sunday afternoon at the Plaza.

Bob, I got this in Veracruz Mexico, went there on business and had this one ordered, my customer picked it up for me, packed it and ship it.

It took 3 week to have it.

Let me call my friend and see if they have a web site.

Great hats/caps of late! While I have not posted in a bit, I have tuned into the thread to appreciate the contributions. Well done!

The past weeks I have been traveling and working tons. I am back from a long weekend of coaching and toughed out morning and evening practices. I left the business "early" this evening and grabbed a pic of my Cordova Cap worn with a "coach custume."

Well Lusitanos are almost all Iberian people. Funny that also when people ask me if I'm Portuguese I reply "No, I'm Alentejano" (Alentejano is a person from Alentejo, the south bank Tagus river region that goes all the way to Algarve).

You guys are hard to live up to! Wow!

Black, possibly midnight blue homburg yesterday. My twelve year old had her first date, so I had to look stern.

The hat was a Barbisio product in the seventies.

It is made in light fur felt, pliable and with lining.
