Hi everyone. It's been a few days so I'll do some catching up.

A couple of days ago, wearing a '50s Open Road.

Today, on a hike around the Bay shore. It was unexpectedly windy and I didn't wear a shirt with a button hole to attach the wind trolley of my Bluegrass Green CD, so I had to improvise.

Hey everyone!

Nice lids today.
Alan, I like your new quote as much as I like the Montecristi.
Esther, moon, hatsRme- adorable kid pics as well as nice hats!
Bob, rocking the Scala again!

Was another hot muggy day, so I went straw again with the H.O. Panama.

This thread needs some more wide brims (really wide).
Friday before leaving to Algarve:

This Stetson Billy the Kidd in navy blue

Just before leaving this Resistol Stagecoach Butterfield Express

And on my way south, the EC again

Saturday while waiting for the "Serranhos" (people that lives in the hills) to arrive to the beach for a annual event, the EC faces the elements.

Went to the Medieval days in "Castro Marim".

Monday started with this Stagecoach, gift of a lounger

And ended with another Stagecoach

Today 2 big black hats, in the morning a Stetson Tom Mix

And in the afternoon a 60's Stetson

A top shelf collection of genuine jumbo gems, Joao!!

Mark that 20 really works well with the tie today. Well done!

Thank you, Moeh! Your Panama is perfect to handle the heat, and looks stylish at the same time.

Matt your fine fuzzy felt fedora (BSHW) really rocks! Good to hear from you!

Mike the cord WORKS! Great display of form and function.

Moon you always rock those lids, but they look even better framed with those sweet faces. TWO cuties; GREAT hat!!

Zeger you and your Mom are raising the bar around here, L'il man!! Can't wait to see your next felt!!

Bob I really like the vent patterns in that lid. Sharp!

Alan, your display of fine straws of late has been exemplary. No, BETTER! BEYOND fantastic!

Teach, great new lid! Love the longhair.
Joao's knocking it out of the park with the wide brims
Mike, I think that was a rather innovative idea. Glad you didn't lose your hat to the wind.
Alan, as somebody who only owns a few nice straws, I'm green with envy
Moon, nice Davis, nice family photo
Who did I forget? Moe, HatsRme (and the bareheaded grandson), Esther and Zeger (wonderful picture of Pop the other day!).
Oh, and Hi, Bob!

Labor Day, along with my dear late mother's birthday (which we refer to as Martini Day), has came and went. Though it's going to remain hot for a while, I've been thinking of rotating out some of my lids for ones I "retired" for the summer. I'll have to go through some boxes this weekend and stage some different ones to switch it up. Today's hat has been staring at me all summer, sitting on one of the hat blocks on my desk at home. Well, this morning it taunted me to wear it, and remembering it's Wide Ribbon Wednesday, I succumbed to the urge.

Mark, I'll see your Cavanagh Twenty with a Disney Twenty with a Cavanagh edge. I won't raise you, however!
