The *** Club

In the "Westerns Anyone" thread, a member posed the question as to whether or not the *** Club hats were "westerns". I posited that they were more outdoor/safari. I think you are much more likely to see *** Club hat on someone shooting clays or hunting than on a cowpoke.

While I have no idea as to whether or not he was the inspiration, when I think of the *** Club hats, I think of ***site's Jeff Cooper:

So, with that being posted, let's see pictures of our *** Club hats.

Yes, the *** Club hats aren't westerns, but are outdoor hats. The lower profiles and shorter brims are to be more conducive for shooting sports.

Stetson has used the name “*** Club” on a wide range of hats. There are stingy brims, pork pies, and the current wide brim quasi western outdoors hats. The latter are my favorites. I’m currently looking for a Dune in Acorn.
