Have to admire your pluck in braving these temperatures. Of course, you do it in style! I would choose to sit at home by the fire with my peppermint schnapps and coffee.

I don't know about style Red, but in complete comfort. I had to shed the Maine Guide hoodie after it warmed up to 15 and the wind died down. Loverly day for a walk. I got in 90 minutes of actual walking time. Would probably still be out, but I wanted to come home and get a pot of chicken vegetable soup started for dinner.

Why NOT, ol' sport?

Too many years of smoking left me with not enough wind for vigorous pursuits. And besides it's just not cold enough here. Ha ha.

That coat is top drawer! Dig it!

Thanks Wesslyn. It's Swiss Army surplus. I think it's the hardest finished wool I've ever seen. Absolutely impermeable to wind.

Odds are low that I will have an opportunity to wear a fedora for a few days. Todays high temp of 11'F will be the high till Friday. Cool temps and wind have me donning a Cordova Cap made of Pendleton wool.

It's beginning to look a lot like Buffalo. To celebrate our first coating of snow, I chose this old derby from New Hampshire. It must have seen its fair share of the white stuff since it hit the slopes around 1900.

The curl is to die for!!! Nice lines, classic...as always.

O.F. Hess "Praga", this hat is from my 2015 Czech find. O.F. Hess was a hat company located in Bohemia Czechoslovakia (now Czechia) that didn't survive much past the end of WWII.
