Howdy folks,

After a lengthy wait and much anticipation, my Aero B3 arrived today.

Oh man! It's so wonderful, I'm truly over the moon. They've done a fantastic job. I ordered a 42" with 27" arms and 28" back, it fits like a dream.

I can't recommend these guys enough, and as always, Holly and the gang were so helpful.

Now bring on some cold Danish days, this beast needs to be released.

I'll post a pic once I've calmed down. :)

Cheers,
Doylum

Great looking jacket and fit Doylum. Can I ask what height you are? I have a B6 on order in the same hide and back length and I'm trying to picture how it might look on me.

Cheers

Garry

Hi Garry,

I'm 6'2" with a long back. That's why I got an extra inch or so added to the arms and back.

I hope your jacket fits well when it arrives.

Cheers,
Mark

Very nice indeed. I still need to lose a few inches on my middle to get back into my B3 - it'll be next Winter. Mine is a twotone - seal with russet panels - but I'd love to add a redskin to my collection eventually, to stand along with my current B3 and ELC 42 pattern Irvin. Also keen on one of the Aero CC Irvins....

Welcome to the Lounge, Doylum!
That's a good way to look strolling up to the virtual bar for the first time ...! A very nice jacket and a good entrance!

Looks just the right fit. Bet if you did the 'Zombie Strangle' you would still have warm wrists ;)

Yep, I've done the 'Zombie Strangle' pose and my wrists are still covered. I thought I'd spare you all the silly pic of me. :)

Next up, I fancy an Aero Two Tone Dustbowl or one of their motorcycle jackets for Spring.

Man, this could end up being an expensive hobby. However, quality jackets just feel so good.

Here's the aero I just returned, it was too big around the body and shoulders and very short at the waist. Quality is amazing though. That's why I returned it and told them to just go forward and custom make me a redskin D-1 with my exact measurements. Gonna keep my Eastman b-3, aside from the zombie strangle I love the fit otherwise.

What size was your Aero? 44"?

Funny thing is everyone says get a roomy size for your B3. If I had got a 44" it would swallow me up. My chest is 41" expanded, so the 42" is more than big enough. Don't think risking a 40" would have been right.

After reading extensively on here, I knew it was the back and arms that would be the tricky part.

I like the D1 jacket too. I would get a seal version to contrast my redskin.
