Looks as though Gustin are about to make their first foray into the underwear market. They really have lost their way, haven't they? Can't imagine how unsanforised denim Y-fronts will go down...

Has anyone bought one of their canvas cylindrical bags? I see they're up on their site right now. I'm in need of a bag, so does anyone have any experience with them?

I've got one of their canvas duffel bags.

I found the fittings and leather quality to disappointing TBH. When I complained they sent me replacement metal hooks etc that were better quality. I believe they use the sturdier metal fittings as standard now.

I decided to keep it at the time but if I'm honest, I don't think it's worth what they are charging. It looks great and there is nothing wrong with it but I think it's just overpriced.

I've not read great things about the QC on the bags.

i was also going to pull the trigger on one of their bags and read about some QC issues. i ended up saving up a few more dollars and getting a new filson med duffle off the bay.

A better bet, I'd say. Generally, the jeans are a solid investment. I love my Zimbys and Okays, they're coming along a treat, and the others are all good stand-ins - but the other stuff seems to be either variable in quality or underwhelming in general. And let us not speak of the underwear...

I think Gustin has attempted to expand their product lines very much like Bills Khakis did with similar results. I do concur with @Sloan1874 assessment of Gustin's Okayama and Zimbabwe as a fantastic value.

I have not tried the Henley, but I do own a number of their t-shirts and a few button down shirts as well. As a general rule I find their sizing tends to run on the smaller side. I wear a size xl in the t-shirts and they are form fitting without being tight, similar to an American Apparel xl. In the button down shirts I wear xxl which is at least a full size bigger than I have ever bought in any other brand.
If you have an athletic/slender build I think you will probably like the cut and feel of their shirts.

Wearing mine today too. I sill have four pairs fo G's and they are my favorites since most of them are on the heavier side.
16,6oz, 16oz, 18oz, and 21oz.
I know that if I need a new pair that they will fit me as the ~10 pairs I've had all did. Holding up well too.

Are people still buying their stuff? I just had a look at their sale page and it was coma-inducing. I still like the pairs that I have, though I currently have my Pima Fires up on eBay - realised that I'd worn them a grand total of half-a-dozen times, tops, so out they go!
